What does it celebrate?
International Mother Language Day’s objective is to promote linguistic diversity
and multilingual education, and to develop fuller awareness of linguistic
and cultural traditions based on understanding, tolerance and dialogue.
國際母語日慶祝什麼？
國際母語日目標是促進語言的多樣性kah多語化的教育，
並且提升基於理解、容忍、對話的語言以及文化傳統的koh較
全面性的意識。
Who is involved?
While UNESCO’s Director-General launches the Day and introduces its themes,
it is the Member States worldwide that are the key players through their national
institutions and associations. As well as widespread media interest, schools,
universities and cultural associations play an active part in promoting the goals of
International Mother Language Day.
包含siáng？
當時聯合國教科文組織總幹事發起這母語日，以及紹介伊的主題
，成員國普徧的是主要關鍵扮演者，透過イ因的國家機構 kah組織，
毋nā引起廣泛的媒體興趣，學校，大學以及文化組織，合作扮演
積極的作用，來推 sak國際母語日的目標。
What can you do?
Practical suggestions for:
你會當做什麼？
實際的建議是︰
School teachers:
Do pupils know that many of their classmates may have mother language(s) different
from the languages used for teaching?
Teachers can ask these children to introduce themselves and talk about their families
and cultures,and teach a little of their mother language to the other children..
The children can recite poetry, read stories or sing songs in their mother language.
Paintings and drawings with captions in mother languages can be displayed both in and
outside schools.
學校老師︰
學生知影イ因大多數同學可能有無仝語言的母語，會用的使用佇教學無？
教師會當要求這寡囡仔紹介家己而且談論イ因的家庭kah文化，同時對
其他的囡仔教一點仔イ因的母語。
囡仔會當用イ因的母語朗讀詩詞，讀故事或者唱歌。
用母語畫圖、素描做標題，展示佇校內kah校外。
University students:
Students may know that their fellow students come from different cultures and use
different languages but may have little further knowledge. This is an opportunity
for them to learn more.
Students can undertake a survey of mother languages on campus by interviewing fellow
students and publishing the results online.
Cultural activities such as films, plays and music that celebrate different languages
can be organized.
大學生︰
學生可能知影イ因的同窗=ê，來自無仝的文化以及使用無仝的語言，
但是可能有koh較進一步的知識，予イ因學習koh較濟的一个機會。
學生會當佇校園藉著訪談同學做母語的調查，而且上網公佈結果。
無仝語言慶祝的文化活動親像影片、演奏kah音樂，會當kā安排組立。
The media:
Every year UNESCO produces press information about International Mother
Language Day.
Local and national media can play a part by producing articles on local languages
spoken in their regions and the cultural expressions of these languages. It is
particularly important that these be available not only in printed media, but also
on radio and television.
媒體︰
每年聯合國教科文組織出版國際母語日的訊息，地方kah國家媒體會當佇
イ因的語群語域本土使用的語言所發表的文章以及這寡語言的文化表現頂懸，
扮演一個角色。
特別重要的這寡會當運用的，毋nā是印刷的平面媒體，同時嘛包括廣播
kah電視。
